A few weekends ago, we drove down to San Diego for the annual Guerisoli trip at the Del Mar Beach Club. Brooke did great on the 7 hour drive! Driving in the car puts her out for hours. We stayed the first night with some friends of the family, the Weeks, in Rancho Santa Fe. They took us to lunch the next day and brought Chandler and Katrina (their son and daughter-in-law) and their new baby, Chance, who is only a week older than Brooke. Here they are... two perfect sleeping babies in a restaurant-what a sight!
So, we went down to the beach... and then went back up to the condo about 5 minutes later! It was really cold and windy!
We had a great few days with Brent's family. Brooke was the star and everyone was wanting to hold her and play with her. I guess when you have a baby, people start to love you for your baby. I'm ok with it, though. Hopefully next year it will be a little warmer and we'll take Brookie-bear in the water.
